Job fair inaugurated in Jamshedpur, 27 companies offer employment

Jamshedpur, Jan 30: A two-day job fair was inaugurated at RVS College of Engineering and Technology (RVSCET) on Monday. On the first day, 27 companies participated in the fair. Tomorrow, 15 more companies will be joining the fair, college sources said.

The chief guest of the job fair was Amitava Bakshi, Chief, Procurement, Tata Steel, while the special guest was K Chandramouli, Assistant Director, Board of Practical Training (BOPT). Bakshi praised the college management for organizing the fair. He said the programme was organized with the view to reduce unemployment.

Other dignitaries included Sudhanshu Padhi, DGM, Tata Motors, Binda Singh, chairman, RVSCET, Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar Tiwary and Dr Vikram Sharma, in-charge, training and placement.
