JNAC to give a face-lift to DM Library

Jamshedpur: The special officer of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) Sanjay Kumar paid a visit to DM Library at Sakchi on Monday. He inspected the facilities available in the library and sought updates on the availability of books and magazines. He directed the JNAC officials concerned to take necessary steps towards renovation of the library.

He said the library was established in 1936. He said the library was a great heritage for the city and a source of knowledge for the youth. He said the facilities in the library should be improved. He said there were plans to construct a multi-storey building at the present site of the library. The new building would have digital library, e-library and Wi-Fi facility, he said.
