Jamshedpur: A team of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee led by Special Officer Sanjay Kumar conducted physical inspection of the sewage system in Sakchi Punjabi Refugee Colony on Saturday on the complaint of a local resident.
Kumar talked to several local residents to find out the status of sewage system in the locality. He was told the sewage line has not been cleaned for a long time. As a result, even slight rain creates a difficult situation for the residents.
The Special Officer said he would soon talk to Jusco officials to get the problem sorted out. He appealed to the residents not to dump household garbage here and there.
The local residents thanked the JNAC officials for cleaning the major nullahs passing through the colony. Due to cleaning of drains and nullahs, there is no clogging of rainwater, they said.
