Jamshedpur, May 30: The Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) and Tata Steel UISL have jointly established a total of 30 RRR (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) centers as part of the “Meri Life, Mera Swachh Shahar” campaign. These centers will provide a platform for the citizens of Jamshedpur to deposit their excess items such as clothes, electronic items, shoes, plastic materials and books at these centres. To promote the concept of RRR, a campaign jointly organized by JNAC and Tata SteelUISL at the Sakchi roundabout near the Bazaar Master’s office and the Sakchi Market on Tuesday. JNAC Ambassador Pappu Sardar played a leading role in urging shopkeepers, especially street vendors who open shop in the market area on Tuesdays in the form of Mangla Haat to donate to the cause of the 3R concept. The response he gained was more than satisfactory. People gave away old toys, clothes and other bric-a-brac that were lying unused to Pappu Sardar and the team that included JNAC and Tata Steel UISL personnel.
