JNAC re-launches ‘Swachhta Alert’ campaign

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) will re-launch the ‘Swachhta Alert’ campaign after a gap of almost two weeks.
Deputy commissioner Amit Kumar on Sunday ordered to commence the campaign after the police force was provided by the district police. As the campaign started, the Swachhta flying squad became active. On Sunday morning, the flying squad visited the Subarnrekha ghat, Pandey Ghat, bus stand and inspected the cleanliness level and recovered fines from people who were indulged in open defecation and urinal and spreading filth.
The flying squad made the shopkeepers clean the area near their shops who had intentionally spread the dirt. The squad also visited the Sakchi vegetable and fish market and inspected the availability of polythene which is totally banned.
