Jamshedpur, June 17 : The flying squad team of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) on Saturday conducted raids at various places in the city to stop the sale of banned gutka (tobacco laced chewable products).

This campaign was launched especially in the areas around schools and colleges. It is noteworthy that there is a ban on the sale of Gutka in the state, yet Gutka is being sold secretly. The flying squad team seized a large quantity of Gutka during the raid operation in Kadma and Sakchi area. Along with this, fine was collected from the concerned shopkeepers.
