Jamshedpur: Battery thief caught red-handed

Jamshedpur, June 17 : A thief was caught red-handed by people while stealing battery from a truck near South Gate located at Telco.

 People caught the thief, tied his hands and feet and also beat him. Some people made a video of the thief being beaten up and made it viral. The police also reached the spot after getting information about this and took the thief into custody. The name of the thief is being told as Ajay and he is a resident of Parsudih police station area. Local people told that many trucks stand on the roadside to go inside the company. Taking advantage of this, the battery is stolen from the truck. According to the information received, at 2 pm on Saturday, the thief was trying to steal a battery from a truck parked on the roadside. Meanwhile, people caught him and handed him over to the police.
