JNAC issues tender for parking facilities in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: The Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) has announced the issuance of tenders for two-wheeler and four-wheeler parking facilities across five designated areas. Sakchi and Bistupur have been allocated specific parking zones under this initiative. Sakchi will oversee areas three and five, while Bistupur will manage areas six, seven, and eight.

The total minimum bidding amount for these parking lots has been set at Rs 2,63,40,000. Notably, the highest starting bid is for Sakchi area-3, commencing at Rs 85,10,000. Interested parties can purchase tender forms between July 18 and 24. The tenders will be opened at 4:00 PM on July 26, and the allotment of parking lots will be based on the highest bids received through an open auction.

Previously, tenders for areas one, two, and four of the Jamshedpur NAC were conducted before the Lok Sabha elections, precluding their inclusion in the current round of tendering. The division of parking areas spans from Sakchi to Bistupur, encompassing a total of eight zones, with Sakchi hosting areas one to five and Bistupur areas six to eight.
