Two-wheeler riders will be charged ₹10 for the first two hours, with an additional ₹2 for each subsequent hour. For four-wheelers, the charge is ₹20 for the first two hours, with an extra ₹5 for additional hours. The parking arrangement will be managed at the departmental level by JNAC and will remain in place until September 22, during the ongoing fair.
Deputy Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar appointed Ashok Vardhan, JNAC Accounts Officer, as the nodal officer for parking operations. Special Officer Arvind Tirkey and City Manager Joy Gudiya will assist in ensuring smooth management.
On Friday evening, the team inspected the parking area around the Kadma Puja ground and discussed the arrangements with the Puja Committee and Kadma Police to prevent parking issues and unauthorized fee collection. Deputy Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar emphasized the importance of organized parking to maintain order and ensure the safety of vehicles, noting that it would also generate revenue for the government.
