Jamshedpur, September 7: The Sarvjanik Durga Puja Committee of Ramnagar Air Base Colony at Kadma-Sonari Road, conducted the Bhumi Pujan for this year’s Durga Puja Pandal. The event marked the beginning of the preparations for the silver jubilee celebration of the committee.
Committee President Deepu Singh and General Secretary Gopal Prasad Jaiswal announced that this year’s Durga Puja would be celebrated with extra grandeur in honor of the silver jubilee milestone. Special programs have been planned, and as in previous years, the committee would distribute prasad on Ashtami and Navami.
The Bhumi Pujan ceremony was attended by several committee members, including Manish Pandey, Raju Sakuja, Mahadev Bashak, Bhola Sharma, Rajesh Mishra, P.C. Ganguly, Ajay Kumar Singh, Srikant Dev, Vishwajit Singh, Prem Rai, Nikhil Sharma, Arun Singh, Santosh Kumar, and Sanjay Sharma.
Baridih Students Club performs Bhoomi Pujan for Durga Puja Pandal
Jamshedpur, September 7: The Baridih Students Club performed the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for the upcoming Durga and Kali Pujas. The ritual aimed to consecrate and purify the selected site for the installation of the Goddess Durga idol.

Club Secretary Pankaj Priya said that this tradition had been carried on for the past 60 years, with active participation from colony residents and committee members. He emphasized that women would again play a significant role in this year’s festivities. The event promised to feature an attractive idol and special electrical decorations.
The ceremony was attended by Vice President Ashwani Sharma, Deputy President Amit Singh, Deepak Mishra, Founder Rama Shankar Sharma, and other committee members, including Ashish Jha, Sumit Rajhans, Brijmohan, Dharamveer and many others. (w/gsd)
