Jamshedpur, March 18: A meeting convened by Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) with contractors was chaired by Deputy Town Commissioner Krishna Kumar. The issue of maintaining cleanliness in the city was discussed threadbare in the meeting. The meeting primarily focused on addressing the declining cleanliness standards in the JNAC control area. Instructions were issued to all supervisors to enhance cleanliness efforts, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a high level of sanitation. Immediate actions were directed to be taken to address complaints, including cleaning drains, regular road sweeping, and timely garbage disposal. All contractors were urged to actively participate in maintaining cleanliness and fulfill their responsibilities as responsible citizens. Instructions were also given for submitting details of employee allocation and cleanliness operations for effective monitoring and improvement. Special officers and city managers were tasked with overseeing and enhancing area-specific cleanliness initiatives.
