JMM stages agitation over domicile policy

Gamharia: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has staged an agitation in front of Gamharia Block office against recruitments in government posts for grade III and IV without first enforcing domicile policy.

The agitation was led by JMM block president Amrit Mahato. In this connection the party has submitted a
memorandum to the Governor through local block office.

The party in the memorandum demanded to hold back the recruitment process and repeal of land acquisition ordinance. Addressing the gathering Champai Soren, JMM legislator flayed the move of the state government to fill up grade III and IV posts without romulgating the domicile policy.

Stating that the Adivasis and the Moolbasis would be deprived of the government jobs demanded immediate cancellation the recruitment process.

JMM central committee secretary Ganesh Chowdhury hit out at the Centre and the State Government and said that Jharkhand was formed with the aim for development of the sons of the soil.

But, he said, if the government tried to deprive the local inhabitants of their rights then it would have serious consequences.

JMM Adityapur city president Ranjit Pradhan, JMM leader Rashmi Murmu, Virendra Pradhan, Astik Mahato and other party activists were present on the occasion.
