Ranchi, March 31: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) MLA Lobin Hembrom has issued a stern announcement, declaring his intention to contest the elections from Rajmahal constituency at any cost, even if not fielded by the party. Hembram asserted that if overlooked by the party, he would run as an independent candidate, citing widespread dissatisfaction with the current MP, Vijay Hansda.

Expressing his resolve, Hembrom stated that he has been actively engaging with the people of Rajmahal constituency for the past week, gauging their sentiments and garnering support for his candidacy. He claimed that there is a palpable desire among the electorate to see him represent them in the upcoming elections.

Addressing concerns about incumbent MP Vijay Hansda, Hembrom criticized Hansda’s perceived image as a businessman rather than a leader, asserting that his popularity among the constituents is minimal. He warned that nominating Hansda again would only exacerbate resentment among the electorate.

Hembrom revealed that he has already communicated his aspirations to contest to the party leadership, who have urged him to consider his candidacy. However, despite assurances, the party’s decision is still pending, prompting Hembrom to assert his willingness to contest independently if necessary.
