Jamshedpur: Jubilant scenes of fire crackers and playing colours were witnessed across Jamshedpur as Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) workers celebrated the release of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren from jail. Soren, who had been incarcerated for the past few months, was released earlier today, prompting an outpouring of joy and support from his party members and supporters. Celebrations spread across Bistupur, Sakchi and Mango.

The celebrations began as soon as news of his release spread, with JMM workers taking to the streets, bursting crackers, distributing sweets, and raising slogans in support of their leader. The party headquarters in Jamshedpur was a hub of activity, adorned with colorful decorations and banners welcoming Soren back.

Senior JMM leaders addressed the gathered crowd, expressing their happiness and reiterating their faith in Soren’s leadership. “The release of Hemant Soren is a victory for justice and truth,” said a senior JMM leader. “We have always believed in his integrity and leadership, and today we stand vindicated.”

Processions were held in various parts of the city, with supporters carrying flags and posters of Soren. In some areas, traditional dance performances were organized, reflecting the cultural heritage of Jharkhand and the deep-rooted connection between Soren and the local populace.
