Jamshedpur: The students of the Government Scheduled Tribe Residential School in Potka block are not getting full benefits.
District president of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Ramesh Hansda alleged this on Wednesday. He said the funds allotted by the state government for the welfare of tribal students should be fully utilized.
He said the students should be given all the basic facilities. He said he had recently visited the school and found only two teachers on duty.
He said the students are not being given quality midday meal. The students are only getting potato in vegetable and rice of poor quality. They are not getting milk, egg and fruits, he said.
