Jamshedpur, March 13: JMM is concentrating hard on the Singhbhum Lok Sabha seat. Former state chief minister and JMM executive president Hemant Soren held a lengthy meeting with party legislators Joba Manjhi and Dipak Birua who had suggested that the party put up a candidate for the Singhbhum parliamentary seat.
Being a party to the Grand Alliance, the JMM is in a quandary. One of the Alliance constituents, the Congress is eager to give a ticket to Gita Koda. JMM is making all out efforts to contest the Singhbhum seat where senior party MLA Champai Soren can play an effective role.
