Ranchi: JMM has charged the union minister Kalraj Mishra with violating the model code of conduct and has demanded action against him.
The central general secretary of JMM, Supriyo Bhattacharya today alleged in a letter written to Election Commission that the union minister has sought votes in favour of BJP by making tempting offers to them. He said that it amounts to violation of model code of conduct and action should be taken against him.
JMM has urged the chief election commissioner to direct the union government to desist from tempting voters and play a constructive role in protecting democracy.
He also demanded that the commission instruct the prime minister to keep Kalraj Mishra suspended from his post till the assembly elections are completed.
