JMM alleges Election Commission trying to destabilise with preponement of polls

Ranchi, July 11: JMM spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya alleged that attempts are being made to destabilize the state again.

He said, after the Lok Sabha elections, assembly elections are going to be held in four states of the country this year. He said, these states include Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra and our state Jharkhand. He said that the Supreme Court has directed the Central Government and the Election Commission of India to conduct elections in Jammu and Kashmir by September 30.

Supriyo said that there are reports in various media organizations that assembly elections may be held in Jharkhand before time and this is the reason officials of the Election Commission of India are on a tour of Jharkhand these days and holding meetings with the top administrative officials of the state.

Supriyo raised questions on holding meetings in a resort in Patratu.

Supriyo said, the coming months are full of hope for the youth of Jharkhand chief minister distributing appointment letters to 1500 PGT teachers.

“The government has a road map ready for the coming days. The government is trying to complete the work of appointments by July, August and then September. In this, posts of judicial, educational institutions, health and police service are to be filled. We gave a total of one lakh government and non-government jobs in the past days. We will achieve our target of providing jobs in the coming two or three months,” said Bhattacharya.

He said that after Enforcement Directorate (ED) and CBI now Election Commission is being used to destablise the government by preponing the assembly elections.

“There is series of festivals beginning with the holy month of sawan when crores of people from the country and abroad come with Kanwar to offer water at Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar. Monsoon is late in Jharkhand and were staring at drought. Now EC is planning to conduct polls early,” said Bhattacharya.
