Jamshedpur: Devotees of Jin Mata are all set to organize a grand festival to pay tributes to the deity. Preparations have begun for the Ashtam Mahotsava of Sri Jin Mata in the city.
Leaving no stone unturned to make it a grand occasion, members and volunteers of Jin Mata Parivar held a meeting at the Sakchi office on Saturday. The meeting was presided by Bajrang Lal Agrawal, president of the outfit.
�We have decided to organize the festival with fervor on 29th March at Agrasen Bhavan, Sakchi. A large number of people are expected to attend the festival. We have made almost all the arrangements. Last minute preparations are on to ensure that everything takes place according to our plan,� said Agrawal.
Giving information about the forthcoming event, Mahavir Moonka and Shambhu Khanna of the organization said bhajan artists from Kolkata led by noted bhajan singer Ramavatar Agrawal will render their performance during a bhajan evening going to be organized on the day of the festival. Devjit Mukherjee and team from Kolkata will present a dance drama on the occasion. Ganesh Chourasia and Group from Kolkata will add flavour to the programme.
Other programmes planned for the day will include Shobha Yatra,Sri Jin Shakti Mangal Paath, Virat Sankirtan, Akhan Jyot, Bhavya Sringar, Chunri Utsava, Chhappan Bhog and Gajra Utsava. A Nishan Yatra will also be organized. It will start at Sakchi Shiva temple and conclude at the Golmuri Jin Mata temple.
