Jamshedpur: A class X girl, identified as Puja Giri, committed suicide by hanging self to death in Salboni village under Galudih police station area on Friday.
Police sources said a suicide note had been recovered from the room of the deceased. The girl was reportedly upset when last seen by her parents. She was a student of Jamini Kant Mahato High School.
Cops said the girl wrote about her feelings for her tuition teacher Kuldeep Kumar Mahato and her alleged sexual exploitation in his hands. The girl wanted to marry her teacher who refused to enter into a serious relationship with her, cops said.
Sources said Puja was speaking to someone over phone minutes before committing suicide. After ending the call, she entered her room and locked it from inside. After sometime, her parents tried calling her out, but failed to get a response. The door was broken only to find the girl hanging from the ceiling inside.
