Jharkhand’s first Vande Bharat Express successfully completes trial run between Patna, Ranchi

Koderma, June 12: The trial run of India’s first semi-high speed train, Vande Bharat Express, from Patna to Ranchi via Koderma Junction has generated immense excitement among the public. Departing from Patna Junction at 6:55 am on Monday morning, the Vande Bharat Express embarked on its trial journey, making stops at Koderma and Gaya before heading towards Ranchi.

Arriving at Koderma at 9:25 am, the Vande Bharat Express made a brief 2-minute halt before continuing its journey to the next stop, Hazaribagh. Hazaribagh MP Jayant Sinha boarded the train at Koderma station, adding to the enthusiasm surrounding the trial run. Railway officials, along with a large number of common people, gathered at Koderma station to witness this historic moment.

Excited by the occasion, people seized the opportunity to take selfies with the Vande Bharat Express, making it a memorable experience. The train will run from Patna to Ranchi via Koderma, Hazaribagh Town, and Barkakana, marking the first high-speed train to operate on this route. MP Jayant Sinha described the trial run of the Vande Bharat Express as a historic event, reflecting the transformative changes in India’s rail sector. He emphasized the significance of the Vande Bharat Express for both Bihar and Jharkhand, highlighting how it will not only reduce travel time but also enhance the overall journey experience from Ranchi to Patna. It should be noted that the Vande Bharat Express will be the first passenger train to traverse the Barkakana, Hazaribagh, Koderma new line from Ranchi to Patna. The journey, encompassing forests, mountains, dams, railway bridges, and tunnels, promises an exhilarating experience for passengers, generating high levels of anticipation among the public
