Jharkhand UPSC topper Swati Sharma interacts with aspirants at KCC Workshop

Jamshedpur, August 17: The Center for Guidance and Counseling at Karim City College (KCC), Sakchi, organized a workshop in the college auditorium on ‘How to Prepare for the UPSC Exam’. The event featured UPSC-2023 Jharkhand topper and all India 17th ranked Swati Sharma of Jamshedpur as the keynote speaker.

Swati Sharma spoke on preparation strategies, emphasizing the importance of setting clear goals, maintaining honesty and confidence, and being consistent in preparation. She highlighted the need to study the UPSC syllabus thoroughly, read major newspapers, and refer to selected books.

Before Swati’s address, Dr. Zaki Akhtar, Coordinator of the Center for Guidance and Counseling, introduced the guest and discussed the significance of proper guidance in shaping students’ future.

The workshop began with a welcome speech by Dr. Mohammad Reyaz, the college in-charge, who also shared his thoughts at the program’s conclusion. The event was conducted by student Kohli Boss, with a vote of thanks given by Pragati. Dr. Zaki Akhtar was the program counselor, while Syed Sajid Parvez was the administrator.
