Thieves cut asbestos, steal cash from general store in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, August 17: Thieves targeted Janta Store near Jawaharnagar Road No. 13 Tayyaba Masjid under Mango police station, Jamshedpur, late Friday night. The store’s owner, Sarwar Ansari, discovered the theft early Saturday morning. The burglars entered by cutting through the asbestos roof, stealing approximately Rs 15,000 along with cash from the cash box. The theft has been reported to the police, who have initiated an investigation into the matter. Local authorities are working to identify the culprits and recover the stolen items.
