Jamshedpur: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) is set to announce the much-awaited Class X (Matric) examination results on Tuesday, May 27, at 11 AM. The official declaration will be made by Education Minister Ramdas Soren during a press conference in Ranchi, as confirmed by a statement from JAC Secretary.
This year, over 4 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 board exams, held between February 11 and March 4 across multiple examination centres in the state. The examinations were conducted under stringent guidelines with enhanced security protocols to ensure fair assessment and prevent any malpractice.
In a significant move, the JAC is also expected to release the Class 12 (Intermediate) board examination results on the same day. If announced concurrently, it would mark a streamlined approach in the result publication process, providing relief to both students and educational institutions looking to kickstart the admission process for the upcoming academic session.
Students can access their results online through the official websites—jac.jharkhand.gov.in, jacresults.com, and jharresults.nic.in. To view their scores, students will need to input their roll code and roll number as printed on their admit cards. It is important to note that the online results are provisional, and original mark sheets will be issued by respective schools in the coming weeks.
With the results announcement, higher education institutions across Jharkhand are gearing up for a busy admission season. Prominent universities are preparing for a surge in applications across disciplines, particularly in engineering, medical sciences, commerce, and arts streams. Admission portals and counselling mechanisms are being updated to ensure a smooth enrolment process.
To assist students facing technical issues during result access, the JAC has launched a dedicated helpdesk, the details of which are available on its official website. Additionally, plans are underway to offer academic counselling and emotional support for students who may need guidance or reassurance following the results. School authorities and NGOs are also expected to collaborate in extending mental health support to students dealing with anxiety or pressure related to performance outcomes.
In 2024, the Class 10 exams saw an impressive overall pass percentage of 92.5%. With increased emphasis on digital learning, teacher training, and improved academic infrastructure this year, educators are hopeful that the 2025 results may reflect even stronger performances. Schools have reported improved attendance and greater student engagement in the post-pandemic learning environment, which could translate into higher success rates.
“As students and parents await the official release, the focus is now on future pathways, with career choices and college admissions looming large. The coming weeks are expected to be filled with activity as students take their next step toward higher education and career development,” said an official.
