Jharkhand Minister Banna Gupta to lead Uttarakhand poll campaign

Jamshedpur, Feb 9: Jharkhand health minister Banna Gupta left for Uttarakhand after a two day visit to New Delhi here on Wednesday. He has been given the responsibility of Uttarakhand state Assembly elections by the Congress leadership, sources said.

Sources said Gupta would be leading party’s election campaign in Uttarakhand. The minister would be staying there till 12th February. He had earlier assumed similar responsibility in Bihar and West Bengal state Assembly elections. His presence would help the party get a better grip on the OBC and Marwari communities, sources said.
