Jamshedpur, Feb 9: Motilal Nehru Public School ( MNPS) launched the Sign Language Board. Sign language has been included in the curriculum in all classes under the S.U.P.W (Socially Useful Productive Work) project from the next working session.
The inaugural program was organised by the Interact Club of the school. The event was inaugurated by the chairman of the School Management Committee, V.S. Rana and Rotary Club President Mita Santra. On this occasion, chairman of project disability of Rotary Club Avinash Duggar and co-chairperson Rajiv Agarwal and other members were present. The welcome address was delivered by the principal of the school Ashu Tiwari.
Duggar presented some code words which were very inspiring for the young students present on the occasion. This sign language will prove to be very helpful for our children with special challenges.
On this occasion the secretary of the school management committee, DP Shukla, and other members, Ritu Chaudhary, teachers and students were present.
