Jharkhand Governor to attend educationists’ conclave at Jamshedpur RVS College today

Jamshedpur, July 7:  Jharkhand Governor, Ramesh Bais will be the chief guest at RVS College of Engineering and Technology in Jamshedpur on Friday, July 8 where a conclave of educationists including Vice Chancellors of Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh, Directors or Principals or their representatives of technical education institutions, Principals of all the 42 schools of Jamshedpur, educationists and intellectuals will participate in discussions on India’s Education Policy – 2020. Governor Ramesh Bais will be the chief guest in the inaugural session of this conclave. The session will be held between 12:30 pm and 2 pm.

This was informed during a press conference held on Thursday by the Chairman of the RVS College Managing Committee Binda Singh, Secretary Bharat Singh, Treasurer Shatrughan Singh, Director Prof (Dr) RN Gupta and Principal Prof (Dr) Rajesh Kumar Tiwary.

Guests will be welcomed before the inaugural session.  After the inaugural event, a discussion will be held on India’s Education Policy – 2020 in two sessions. A panel discussion will also be held after these two sessions. The RVS College authorities informed during the press meet that the participants in the conclave would discuss the manner in which the Education Policy – 2020 would make the nation’s educational system development oriented be beneficial for the nation. The merit of India’s Education Policy —  2020 will be examined on how it will favour the educational uplift of the nation and an inclusive social system.
