‘Students of classes 8 and 9 should have access to eggs and milk’
Jamshedpur, June 19: C P Radhakrishnan participated in various events at the Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Monday, where he had the opportunity to interact with school children, share his achievements as a parliamentarian, and discuss his duties as a Governor. The visit not only provided inspiration but also offered a platform for the Governor to address important issues, including the assurance of better nutrition for the students.

During his interactions, the Governor highlighted his role as a parliamentarian in promoting development and welfare measures for the public in his constituency. He mentioned his contributions in areas such as infrastructure, education, employment, water supply, and electricity accessibility. Notably, he emphasized his successful efforts in getting six additional trains to operate from Coimbatore, benefitting the local community.

Addressing a gathering at Kumar Vijay Pratap Singhdeo State-Sponsored Girls +2 High School, Radhakrishnan responded to a query from a girl student. He said, “As a parliamentarian, my focus was on improving the lives of people in my area. I worked towards providing better infrastructure, including roads, electricity, and water supply. Education and employment opportunities were also key areas of focus. I’m proud to have played my role in getting six additional trains operating from Coimbatore, facilitating better connectivity for the people.”

Governor Radhakrishnan’s visit to the school not only aimed to inspire and motivate the students but also addressed the importance of nutrition. He assured the children of the government’s commitment to ensuring better nutrition for all students. This assurance aligns with the government’s ongoing efforts to prioritize the well-being and overall development of school children across the state.

The Governor said that children from class 9 and above should get one egg and two glasses of milk, in this regard he will talk to the state government.
During his visit to the Scheduled Tribe Residential High School in the same district he also distributed sports material among them, inquired about the education provided to the children, hostel arrangements and food and drinks. The children informed him that nutritious food was provided to them. Egg is also given in the food.
Governor Radhakrishnan’s visit to the schools in the district exemplified his dedication to engaging with the younger generation, understanding their needs, and providing guidance for their future endeavors.
