Jharkhand Government to preserve Ranchi’s Pahari Mandir : CM

Ranchi, March 8: Jharkhand chief minister Champai Soren announced of state government plans to preserve the historic Pahari Mandir in Ranchi.

Addressing the devotees during the Shiv Barat function on the occasion of Mahashivratri at the historic Pahari Mandir, Soren said that his government will preserve the historic temple.

“This religious heritage will be given a separate identity in the country. Work will be done with commitment towards providing better facilities to the devotees in the temple premises. The government is committed to protect and preserve historic religious sites of all religions,” said Soren.

Champai Soren participated in the “Shri Shiv Baraat” program organized at the historic Temple complex today.

The Chief Minister worshiped Baba Bholenath here with full rituals and wished for the happiness, prosperity, progress and welfare of all the people of the state.

He also extended his best wishes and congratulations to all the officials including the chairperson of the managing committee.

Chief Minister extended his hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the women devotees present in the hill temple complex on International Women’s Day.

The 2140 feet Ranchi hill houses the Pahari Mandir at its summit. One needs to climb a flight of 468 steps to reach the summit which has the temple of Shiva.
