Ranchi: In a proactive move to enhance public service delivery, the Jharkhand state government is set to establish a call center as part of the ‘Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar’ campaign. The Information Technology department has issued a tender for the call center, scheduled to be activated post the campaign, which commenced on November 24th and will run until December 29th.
Under the campaign, the call center will directly engage with beneficiaries, evaluating their experience with the scheme and addressing concerns regarding the progress of their applications. This includes verifying if beneficiaries have received the benefits of the scheme and assessing whether the proposed work has been executed as per the application. The call center will play a pivotal role in identifying and reporting any hindrances faced by applicants in the process.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren, emphasizing the campaign’s priority, alerted officials to monitor its progress at every level. Committed to transparency and responsiveness, the government aims to promptly address issues raised by beneficiaries through the call center.
The ongoing campaign has witnessed significant public participation, with 10.06 lakh applications received in the first seven days. Across 1365 camps organized statewide, a total of 10,06,620 applications have been submitted. Of these, 1,60,894 applications have already been processed, while the execution of 8,78,086 applications is in progress.
To ensure accountability, the government will compile a comprehensive list of beneficiaries whose applications have been successfully processed. Assets have already been distributed among 3,80,146 individuals based on the submitted applications. Additionally, an amount of Rs 14 crore 83 lakh 76 thousand 103 has been disbursed through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism.
