Jamshedpur: NTTF’s ‘Youth Skill Sports Fest’ concludes

Jamshedpur, Dec 2: The two-day ‘Youth Skill Sports Fest’ hosted at RD Tata Technical Institute in Golmuri reached its conclusion on Saturday. The event featured Manoj Kumar Yadav, Director of the International Roll Ball Federation and President of the Ball Badminton Association, as the chief guest. The program was inaugurated by Principal Preeta John, who honored the chief guest with a bouquet.

Chief Guest Manoj Kumar Yadav extended encouragement to the participating players and shared his insights on the players’ passion for sports and their unwavering determination. Principal Preeta John, in her address, emphasized the necessity of sports in life, describing it as an energy booster. She emphasized the importance of strong determination and hard work as the only paths to achieving life goals.

During the event, the Man of the Tournament award was named after Somu Murmu, while Durgacharan Devgam received the Best Goalkeeper award. People’s Academy Plus Two High School emerged as the overall winner in football.

Chief Guest Manoj Yadav and Principal Preeta John presented awards to all the winners. The Institute’s Principal expressed gratitude to all the schools and technical educational institutions that participated in the Youth Skill Sports Fest. The event’s success was attributed to the collaborative efforts of individuals including BP Acharya, Vice Principal Ramesh Rai, Shivaprasad, Manjar, Laxman Soren, Rohit, Deepak Ojha, Shashi Ranjan Mishra, Pankaj Gupta, Pranab Ghosh, Mithila, Preeti, Manjula, and others.
