Jharkhand Government greenlights 23 proposals in cabinet meeting

Ranchi: In a cabinet meeting held at the Jharkhand Ministry on Friday, December 15th, chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the state government approved a total of 23 proposals. Amendment in Jharkhand Industrial Policy: The state government has sanctioned amendments to the Jharkhand Industrial Policy, signaling a strategic shift in the approach to industrial development.

Amendment in Reservation Act for Jharkhand Posts and Services: Changes in the Reservation Act pertaining to vacancies in Jharkhand posts and services have been approved, emphasizing inclusivity and equitable representation.
Ex Post Facto Approval for Expenditure in Friendly Match: The government granted ex post facto approval for the expenditure incurred during a friendly match held in the budget session, ensuring financial transparency.
Solid Waste Management Scheme Allocations: Financial allocations of Rs 123 crore for Gumla and Rs 212 crore for Vanshidhar Nagar have been approved under the Solid Waste Management Scheme, reinforcing the state’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

Rail Overbridge in Ketari Bagan: An allocation of Rs 44 crore has been approved for the construction of a rail overbridge in Ketari Bagan, aiming to enhance transportation infrastructure.

Road Development in Seraikela-Kharsawan: An approval of Rs 101 crore for road development in Seraikela-Kharsawan demonstrates the government’s focus on improving connectivity and infrastructure.

State’s IT Data Center Policy Determination: The cabinet has decided on the state’s IT data center policy, aligning with the technological advancements and data management requirements.

Funding for 500-Bed Medical College and Hospital in Bokaro: A substantial allocation of Rs 6 billion 88 crore 49 lakh has been approved for the establishment of a 500-bed medical college and hospital in Bokaro, addressing healthcare needs.

Salary Revision for Planning Officer Post: The cabinet has sanctioned the revision of salary for the sanctioned post of Planning Officer, aiming to attract and retain qualified professionals.
Funding for Vinod Bihari Mahato University: An approval of Rs 77 crore has been granted for Vinod Bihari Mahato University, reinforcing the commitment to quality education.
