Jharkhand Congess prez Rajesh Thakur skips Delhi summon

Ranchi, May 2: Amidst the ongoing voting for the Lok Sabha elections, the ‘X’ account of Jharkhand Congress has been banned across India for sharing allegedly a fake video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah viral on social media. In this case, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress President Rajesh Thakur was called by Delhi Police for questioning on May 2, but he did not go to Delhi.

Rajesh Thakur had already said that he will take legal advice and then decide what to do on the notice of Delhi Police. Rajesh Thakur on Wednesday held a meeting with the state presidents of the party’s organisations, departments and cells regarding the Lok Sabha elections 2024.

Social media handle X has banned the handle of Jharkhand Congress in India. This action has been taken on charges of posting fake video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The handle of Jharkhand Congress was blocked by X in India in response to a legal demand.
