Jharkhand CM jibe at PM Modi visit to Jamshedpur, claims BJP will be routed in Haryana, J&K

Ranchi, September 11: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has taken a dig at the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is scheduled to visit Jamshedpur on September 15.

Addressing a function of Apki Yojana, Apki Sarkar, Apke Dwar at Godda district on Wednesday, Hemant Soren said that Manipur has been burning for a year due to communal strife.

“The dignity of sisters and daughters are being looted. But the head of the central government (Prime Minister) did not go there even once. These people have nothing to do with anyone. Today they cannot even go to Punjab and Haryana. Farmers are against them there. They will have to face defeat in the assembly elections of Jammu and Kashmir as well. Now their eyes are on Jharkhand,” said Soren.

Hemant Soren said that it is a government run from the village and not from the Ranchi headquarters.

“We have worked for you, so we have full right to ask for votes. The opposition people say that the Maiyaan scheme has been started to buy votes. We have started the Maiyaan scheme. In the coming five years, we will work to deliver one lakh rupees to every household,” said Soren.

Soren that you people will no longer need to borrow from anyone.

Taking a jibe at the BJP, Soren said that BJP are a group of traders are preparing to loot the forest.

“The Forest Rights Act has been changed. The contract-lease for cutting trees is being decided from Delhi. We have started the Birsa Gram Harit Yojana. We have started a scheme for waiving off loans of up to two lakhs for farmers but BJP is only interested in looting forest resources,” said Soren.

“BJP is going to be wiped out from Haryana and BJP is not going to come to Jammu and Kashmir either.. BJP forms the government by buying and selling on the strength of money power,” alleged Soren.

He also announced that in the next five years, one lakh rupees will be given to every family.

The Chief Minister compared BJP as group of businessmen.

“BJP is like businessmen trying to loot the country’s forest resources. The Forest Rights Act has beenchanged. Instructions for people to cut forests are being issued from Delhi. You have to assess how you were looted with both hands in the previous double engine government in 20 years and what rights did you get in the last 4 years,” said Soren.
