Hundreds attend TFA Grassroots Festival, Jamshedpur FC vs. Mumbai FC tickets unveiled

Jamshedpur, September 11: Tata Football Academy (TFA) hosted a Grassroots Football Festival as part of the D License course here on  Wednesday. The event, held at the TFA facilities in Jamshedpur, showcased the talent and enthusiasm of young footballers from across the region.

The festival featured 237 students from three grassroots centers: Loyola Football Grassroots School, Carmel Junior College, and Jamshedpur FC Tinplate Grassroots Football Open Center. Eighteen Jamshedpur FC grassroots coaches were actively involved in the event, providing valuable guidance and support to the young participants.

Kundan Chandra, Head of Grassroots & Development, emphasized the importance of grassroots initiatives in nurturing football talent. “The Grassroots Football Festival is a vital component of our D License course, highlighting our commitment to developing young players and fostering a love for the game,” Chandra said.

The festival was supported by the Head of Grassroots, Arshad Hussain, Rahul Raj, and Sourav Kumar, who played crucial roles in organizing and overseeing the event.

Also, tickets for Jamshedpur FC’s ISL home match in the Indian Super League were unveiled at the festival by the parents and children. Jamshedpur FC play its first home match against Mumbai FC on September 21st at JRD Sports Complex at 5 PM. The tickets are available at https://ticketgenie.in/.
