Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren wants administrations to make people aware of welfare schemes

Ranchi, Oct 26: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren said that the government is making schemes and plans as per the aspiration of the people.

Speaking during inauguration of schemes and asset distribution program among beneficiaries at Hisaghuttu ground of Chhuchi Panchayat in Barhait block of Sahibganj district on Monday, Hemant Soren said that the government was leeping in mind people’s aspirations, expectations and needs while making plans and schemes and implementing them on the ground.

The Chief Minister said that everyone should get the benefit of the development and welfare schemes of the government. The schemes should be given wide publicity at the village level. The district administration should hold meetings in the villages and panchayats to inform the people about the schemes and make sure to get its benefits.

 The Chief Minister while admitting that Covid-19 disturbed state’s development plans said that government has succeeded in controlling the Covid infection.

“After controlling the Covid-19 by better management through lockdown and ensuring that our our laborers trapped in other states by plane, train and bus. worked to bring With this, not only free food was arranged for them, but many schemes were also started for their employment. As a result of this, not a single person died of hunger in our state. After Covid decrease we have started increasing pace of development. New schemes and policies are being made so that the people of the state can get their full benefits,” said Soren.

The Chief Minister said that employment generation is a special priority of the government. On the one hand, the recruitment process in government departments is being expedited, on the other hand, many schemes have been made for self-employment and are being implemented rapidly.

The government has started many welfare schemes like Birsa Harit Gram Yojana, Nilambar Pitamber Jal Samridhi Yojana, Shaheed Poto Ho Khel Vikas Yojana, Phoolo Jhano Aashivard Yojna and Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Yojana. He asked the villagers to join these schemes and take full benefits. The Chief Minister said that the government has provided green ration cards to those who do not have ration cards. Now the government has decided to give eggs 6 days a week to children in schools, while all those above 60 years of age will get pension.

In the program, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stone of 28 schemes at a cost of Rs 1875. 74 lakh. This includes laying the foundation stone of 27 schemes worth Rs 1845.53 lakh and inaugurating one scheme worth Rs 30.21 lakh. On this occasion, he distributed assets among 120 beneficiaries of schemes run by various departments.

In another program at Sahibganj districts. Hemant Soren handed over the appointment letter to the selected candidate for Junior Engineer and Accounts Clerk-cum-Computer Operator and the newly selected Anganwadi Sevak and Sahayika under 15th finance commission.

Hemant Soren distributed assets among 83 beneficiaries of schemes run by various departments in a program organized at Kunwarpur football ground in Pathna block of Sahibganj district. On this occasion, he provided appointment letters to three candidates selected for Junior Engineer and Accounts Clerk-cum-Computer Operator and newly selected six Anganwadi Sevika and Sahayika under 15th Finance Commission. He handed over acceptance letters to five beneficiaries for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Gramin.

In this program, the Chief Minister distributed special equipment to the differently-abled and assets among the beneficiaries of MNREGA, JSLPS, Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana, Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana and Sona Sobran Dhoti-Sari Yojana. The Chief Minister also gave pension acceptance letters to 10 beneficiaries in the program.
