BJM meeting discusses readying of Chhath Ghats in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Oct 25:  A meeting of Central Dipawali and Chhath Puja Committee of West Vidhan Sabha constituency was organized under the chairmanship of BJM convener Manju Singh at the residential office of MLA Saryu Roy in Bistupur. MLA Saryu Roy was also present in the meeting.

The meeting discussed various preparations that were being undertaken at the major Chhath Ghats in the constituency. The joint convener of the committee, Kiran Singh, elaborated the various problems of Chhath Ghats located in the area. Discussions were held on the cleanliness of the Ghats, proper power supply and lighting arrangements, tents, PA systems, changing rooms, security barricading, worship material for Chhath devotees including arrangement of refreshments.

MLA Saryu Rai said that for all necessary preparations, special officers of Mango Municipal Corporation would be urged to make arrangements after discussions with them.
