Jharkhand CM gives service extension for e-dist managers 

Ranchi, June 18: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has given his permission on the proposal to extend the service period of E-District Manager working on contract for the last eight years to two years in all the districts of the state.

 Now this period will be from October 2021 to September 2023.

Significantly at the district level, e-district managers play an important role. They do work related to digital works. With an overall objective, e-District Managers assist the deputy commissioners of the district to ensure local level e-district services. Due to the extension given by the Chief Minister, the work related to digital and online services at the district level will get a boost.

They are appointed on contractual basis under e-District project that aims to deliver government services to the citizens (G2C) so that government services are accessible to the common citizens in his locality through Internet, Common Service Centres “Arunodoy Kendra” and Public Facilitation Centres (PFCs) at deputy commissioner and Circle Offices. Citizens at Village-level can access the services through CSCs. All certificates are dully digitally signed and can be verified online at pragya kendras.

In another decision Chief Minister Hemant Soren gave letter of consent for 26.150 km of Petarwar Gomia Narki Bishnugarh Path between Gomia and Dumri Bihar station. No.- 11/A /T in place of Road Over Bridge (ROB) Rs.83.31,96,390/- (Rupees eighty three crore thirty one lakh ninety nine thousand three hundred ninety only) administrative approval and railway Approval on the draft of the instrument for the Council of Ministers and Planning Authorized Committee regarding the approval to make available the amount (except the amount of land acquisition) to the Railways by withdrawing the necessary amount in advance for the construction of Road Over Bridge (ROB).
