Jharkhand CM announces grand Ram Temple at Ranchi

Ranchi, March 30: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren called upon the people to imbibe the ideals of Shri Ram and enrich mutual unity, harmony and culture.

Addressing a function on the occasion of Ramnavami at Tapovan Temple in Ranchi, Hemant Soren said that last year on the occasion of Ramnavami festival, it was announced to develop the holy land of Tapovan. This year, the renovation and beautification work of the temple and surrounding area has started on Ram Navami. Next year on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, the devotees would see a grand temple of Lord Ram-Janaki at the site.

The Chief Minister said that the government is committed to preserve and develop the historical-religious places. The development of Tapovan temple complex and surrounding area is an important part of this episode. This temple is being developed as a symbol.

Hemant Soren said that more than Rs 14 crore would be spent on the development of Tapovan temple complex. More funds will be made available if needed.

He greeted the devotees involved in the Ram Navami procession through the road show. Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji and members of Ram-Janki Tapovan Temple Committee and Mahavir Mandal Nivaranpur Committee were present on the occasion.

Offering greetings to people on the on the auspicious festival of Ram Navami, Soren said that Shri Ram ji is our ideal.

“Ramnavami festival strengthens mutual unity, brotherhood, harmony and the tradition and culture that has been going on for years. We should imbibe the ideals of Lord Shri Ram in our lives, because everyone’s welfare lies in it,” said Soren.

After worshipping at the temple, the chief minister sought  progress, happiness, prosperity, peace and a healthy life for the people of the state.
