Jharkhand CM and family members attend Shradha Karma of Guruji

Ranchi, August 10:  After the death of Jharkhand movement’s great hero and former Chief Minister Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, his Shradha Karma was performed on Sunday in his native village Nemra (Ramgarh) with full traditional rituals.

Today, on this occasion, thousands of people reached Nemra village to pay tribute and respect to their beloved leader. On this emotional occasion of Shraddha Karma, Chief Minister Hemant Soren reached Nemra with his entire family.

He and his wife Kalpana Soren followed all the rituals with full rites and ceremonies. Pinddaan, Tarpan and other important rituals were performed under the supervision of the village elders and pandits. The Chief Minister sat with the family members and the village elders and discussed the traditional procedures related to the Shraddha and ensured that all the rituals were performed properly.

This occasion was not just a religious ritual, but it was also an opportunity to remember the struggles, contributions and legacy of Dishom Guru. The atmosphere of the village was extremely emotional and full of reverence. A large number of villagers, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) workers and people from far and wide had come to pay tribute to their beloved leader.

MLA Kalpana Soren also played an important role in this hour of grief. She actively participated in the traditional and tribal customs of Jharkhand. Along with the rural women, she performed all the rituals, which was a symbol of respect for Guruji and the resolve to carry forward his legacy.

Through this Shraddha Karma, the Soren family not only paid their last tribute to their father and leader, but also showed that they are deeply connected to their cultural and traditional roots. The entire program was a reflection of the rich tribal culture and traditions of Jharkhand.
