Seraikela: The Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court, Justice Mahesh Sharadchandra Sonak, visited Seraikela on Saturday, marking a significant occasion for the district judiciary.
Upon his arrival at the District Court premises, he was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour in recognition of his esteemed position.

During the visit, Justice Sonak conducted a comprehensive inspection of the District Court premises. He was accompanied by Principal District and Sessions Judge Ramashankar Singh, Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Luniayat, and Deputy Development Commissioner Reena Hansda, along with other judicial officers.
Interacting warmly with officials and staff, the Chief Justice reviewed the functioning and infrastructure of the court.
As part of his visit, he also participated in a plantation drive within the court premises, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and promoting a message of sustainable greenery.
The visit underscored the judiciary’s commitment not only to strengthen institutional efficiency but also to foster environmental responsibility within public spaces.
