Ranchi, September 6: A meeting of the Jharkhand cabinet was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
In all 63 proposals were approved in the meeting held. Several important decision including Chief Minister Transgender Pension Scheme was approved.
This apart approval has been given to build a 520-bed tribal hostel in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Rs 29 crores have been approved for the expenditure for the examination conducted by Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC).
The cabinet gave nod for Rs 71 crore for Bhandari Dih Gomoh Station Path of Bokaro. Approval has been given for the implementation of Palna Yojana. The benefit of Jharkhand Chief Minister Mainiya Samman Yojana will now be available from the age of 18. The extension of the term of assistant policemen was also approved.
The cabinet has approved Rs 77 crore for Garhwa-Shahpur road. The incentive amount for Sahiya has been increased to Rs 2000. Saheya Sathi will now be given Rs 50 per day. The proposal to purchase MRI machine in RIMS has been approved.
In a significant decision, the Jharkhand cabinet today approved Rs 5 lakhs medical insurance cover for over 30,000 lawyers in the State.
The cabinet also cleared a proposal to give Rs 14,000 pension every month to lawyers aged 65 years and above.
Besides, the cabinet also approved a proposal to give a Rs 5,000 stipend every month to the newly enrolled advocates.
Now girls of class 8 enrolled on reserved seats in private schools will also be covered under Savitribai Phule Scholarship Scheme
Approval of amendment in salary allowance of Jharkhand assembly members
Increase in the amount of free uniform for all students of class 9 to 12, now Rs 1200 will be given for two sets.
Approval of amendment in JTET exam rules, now OMR based exams can be conducted.
