Jharkhand Cabinet: Hemant Soren govt announces several benefits for eunuchs

Ranchi: The Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has taken a big decision. Under this, the Hemant Soren government of the state has decided to provide the benefit of OBC category to the transgender community. Hemant Soren government gave this gift to the transgender community by approving 35 proposals in the state cabinet meeting on Wednesday. Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel said that not only this, the Kinnar community will now get one thousand rupees per month as pension, and the benefit of the OBC category will be available only to those who are not taking benefits from any other category.

Apart from this, the Hemant Soren government has decided to provide the benefits of the pending cycle scheme to the students of the state. The amount of the bicycle will be sent to the bank account of the students from 2020 to 2023 through DBT, while the process of purchasing the bicycle for 2023-2024 and 2024 and 2025 will be done through tender. A revised amount of more than 9 billion has been approved for South and North regions for drinking water in Govindpur Nirsa of Dhanbad district from the DMFT fund.

In the Department of Higher Technical Education, the proposal to increase the grant amount of the institution without finance has been approved. Now this amount will be available from 4 to 12 lakhs. An amount of Rs 44 crore has been approved for the renovation of the 49 km road of Koderma-Jamua. Hemant Soren cabinet has approved 63 crore 44 lakhs for Kanchi irrigation. The fee of the Special Public Prosecutor has now been reduced to Rs 1,000.

The ex-gratia amount received by the police in the state has been revised. Up to 7.5 lakh will be paid to the injured policeman, while this amount will double in case of a militant incident. An amount of Rs 27 crore 61 lakh has been approved for the supply of drinking water in Barhi of Hazaribagh. Along with this, approval has been given to constitute one Juvenile Justice Board each in Ranchi and East Singhbhum. In the 12 districts where the government has appointed assistant police personnel, their service period has been extended by one year.

35 proposals approved in Jharkhand Cabinet meet

Ranchi: Jharkhand Council of Ministers meeting was held on Wednesday at the Project Bhawan under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. A total of 35 proposals were approved by the Cabinet in the meeting. Cabinet-level ministers and many senior officials were present in the meeting, where during the meeting, approval was given to build the Koderma-Jamua road for Rs. 44 crores. The compensation given to employees if they are injured in violence or accident during election work was increased. Now, if someone gets injured in such circumstances, he will get an assistance amount of up to Rs 7.5 lakh. At the same time, this amount will be doubled if someone is injured or disabled in extremist violence. Apart from this, many important proposals were approved in the Hemant cabinet.
