Ramgarh, Mar 29: Beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act must complete their e-KYC by March 31, or their names will be removed from the ration card, officials have warned. To raise awareness, the Supply Department flagged off two awareness vehicles from the Collectorate premises on Friday. Deputy Development Commissioner Robin Toppo, Additional Collector Geetanjali Kumari and District Supply Officer Ranjita Toppo were present at the event.

“The awareness vehicles will visit different villages, informing people about government food security schemes and the e-KYC process through banners, posters, pamphlets and public announcements,” said District Supply Officer Ranjita Toppo.

All pink and yellow ration card holders are urged to complete their e-KYC at their nearest dealer. Migrant laborers can complete it at any Public Distribution System (PDS) shop near them.

The awareness campaign highlights key schemes, including the Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme, Chief Minister Salt Distribution Scheme, Chief Minister Dal Distribution Scheme, Sona-Sobran Dhoti-Sari Distribution Scheme and Sugar Distribution Scheme.

For any queries or complaints regarding e-KYC, beneficiaries can contact the Public Grievance Management System at 1967/1800-212-5512
