Jamshedpur: The Jharkhand Banga Bhashi Samanvay Samiti (JBBSS) is one organization that has been fighting to propagate and establish the Bengali language in Jharkhand. The result was evident when the Jharkhand Minorities Commission honoured JBBSS president Bikash Mukherjee at Ranchi on December 18, 2018. The Samiti general secretary Sandip Sinha Chowdhury stated that the honour was for all the Bengali language crusaders.
He further informed that all crusaders attached to the movement since the formation of the JBBSS till date would be honoured at a function to be organized at The Bengal Club on Sunday, January 20.
