Dhanbad, Jan 9: Baghmara SDPO Purushotam Kumar Singh injured and party office of Giridih MP Chandra Prkash Choudhary was torched in blood clash between two groups for supremacy on outsourcing company engaged in Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) Kharkhari Colliery under Madhuban police station around 30 km away from district headquarter on Thursday afternoon.
Madhuban police station officer in-charge Jaiprakash told media persons that situation was under control and police are raiding different locations for arresting of people involved in bloody clash .
Two persons were arrested in this connection by police after incident.
The clash started in the morning as Hiltop outsourcing company began boundary wall construction in Babudih area. Land losers ( Raiyat) opposed the construction without giving compensation and job while another group jumped in support of outsourcing company.
Stone pelting , bombing and firing were used by both the groups in large scale. Both the groups burnt several bikes of each other in course of clash
Getting information Baghmara SDPO Purushottam Kumar Singh reached the spot with heavy police force but he injured seriously after a stone hit his forehead while controlling the situation. Having seen injured SDPO, both the groups fled from the spot.
However, security personnel of four police stations reached Madhuban and began arresting the persons involved in the clash.
The police arrested one of the leaders Karu Yadav , said to be Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader, from Kharkhanri market. His supporters protested arresting and pelted stones on police.
As police taken away Karu Yadav, an irate mob set Kharkhari based office of Giridih MP Chandra Prakash Choudhary (AJSU) on fire.
The area falls in Giridih Lok Sabha constituency. Chandra Prakash Choudhary had three days ago asked outsourcing company operator do not construct boundary wall of colliery till land losers are paid compensation.
