Jamshedpur, April 2: The Jamshedpur Adventure Foundation, in association with the Adventure Club of J. H. Tarapore School, organised a trekking expedition for students, combining adventure with learning.
A total of 225 students, along with 14 teachers, participated in the 5-km uphill trek. The journey started from Asanbani and ended at Pinderbera, located about 830 feet above sea level.
The trek offered scenic views of green hills, forests, and natural trails. Students showed great enthusiasm and determination while completing the climb. Teachers accompanied them throughout the journey, ensuring safety and motivating them at every step.
The activity helped students build physical strength and endurance. It also encouraged teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Participants learned the importance of supporting each other and staying focused during challenging situations.
The trekking expedition also helped students connect with nature and understand the value of protecting the environment. Many students described the experience as exciting and memorable.
Organisers said the event was a perfect mix of adventure and education. It not only provided enjoyment but also created awareness about nature and outdoor learning among students.
