Jamshedpur, April 2: Jamshedpur FC goalkeeper Ravi Kumar visited Vidya Bhartiya Chinmaya School in Bistupur and interacted with around 250 students as part of the club’s community outreach programme.
The former Tata Football Academy (TFA) cadet shared his football journey with the students and encouraged them to follow their passion for sports. He also demonstrated his skills during an informal session, which created excitement among the young audience.
To make the event more engaging, the school organised juggling and passing competitions. Ravi Kumar distributed Jamshedpur FC merchandise to the winners, adding to the enthusiasm of the students.
During the interaction, Ravi invited the students and their families to attend Jamshedpur FC’s upcoming match against Mohun Bagan SG on April 4 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex. He encouraged them to come and support the team.
Ravi said he was happy to see the students’ interest in football and hoped they would continue to stay connected with the sport.
The visit is part of Jamshedpur FC’s efforts to connect with the local community and promote football among the youth. Such initiatives aim to inspire young players and build a strong fan base in the region.
