Jamshedpur: In a distressing incident, thieves forcefully entered the residence of Arun Sarkar, who resides in flat number 24/B at Parvati Condominium Phase-1 Apartment, located under the jurisdiction of Parsudih police station. The criminals made off with valuable jewelry worth lakhs and a sum of cash.
The incident occurred on a Friday evening when Arun Sarkar, along with his family, had left for Sakchi around 5 pm. Upon their return approximately half an hour later, they discovered signs of a break-in. The main door lock had been tampered with, and the interior of the flat was in disarray, with the cupboard lock also broken.
Subsequent investigations revealed that a variety of jewelry, including two gold earrings, two bracelets, a gold locket, a ring, and a set of earrings, with an estimated value of around two lakh rupees, were missing. Furthermore, Rs 30,000 in cash was reported stolen from the cupboard, along with the theft of a mobile phone.
Arun Sarkar, the homeowner, has expressed suspicion about several individuals, including his maid, Pinky Sarkar from Parsudih, the milkman Surendra Yadav, and the building’s security guard, in connection with the theft.
In response to this incident, Arun Sarkar has formally filed a written complaint with the Parsudih police station and has urged appropriate action to be taken in the matter.
