Jamshedpur Sex Racket: Sakchi hotel owner arrested for forcing girls into prostitution

Four including hotel owner sent to jail, girls and boys entangled in illicit business released

Jamshedpur: A shocking revelation has emerged following a raid on a hotel in Sakchi Aambagan, Jamshedpur. The police arrested hotel operator Qaiser Imam, a resident of Sakchi Thakurbari Road, along with his associates Arshad Alam, resident of Azadnagar Road No. 14, Basudev Ghosh of Bakura, West Bengal, and Rajkumar Yadav of Sonari Gwala Basti. All the four arrested have been sent to jail.

During police questioning, operator Qaiser Imam disclosed his involvement in running a prostitution business within the hotel. He admitted to coercing young women and girls from various locations into illegal prostitution by enticing them with monetary rewards.

These women were compelled to charge extra fees to customers seeking their services. Each woman received one thousand rupees per customer.

The police also confiscated incriminating materials, the hotel register, and CCTV DVR from the hotel rooms. Subsequently, four individuals have been incarcerated by the authorities, while the women and boys entangled in the illicit business have been released.
